A reminder to all competing teams to please return the balls to the ball box at conclusion of play.
SHADE UMBRELLAS:
A reminder to all members that shade umbrellas are available which can be attached to the
seating at courts 4 & 5. They are located in the outdoor sheds.

- applications will close on Fri 12/02/10 at 5pm
- please read the information sheet carefully before completing your entry form
- please ensure your availability for dates of play
- if you have any scheduling requests (eg. if you know you have a prior commitment on one of
the dates), please indicate this on the entry form. Efforts will be made to accommodate
requests, but these cannot be guaranteed. - matches cannot be rescheduled once the draw is displayed on the notice board. Inability to
play will result in a forfeit of the match - please note that all entrants must be available to play finals on 21st March (senior events 1-
10, junior events 1-7 & 11-14). Please do not enter these events ifyou are unavailable on
this date. - if you have any queries, please contact Sue Fitazgerald
NSTA - Saturday Afternoons:
- there are 5 matches remaining in the Summer 2009/10 season. Good luck to all teams.

winter season
NSNTA - Night Tennis:
- congratulations to the Mixed B3 team who won the grand final in the Spring 2009 season
- good luck to all teams playing night tennis this season
- season commences: Tue (ladies) 2nd Feb, Wed (mixed) 10th Feb & Thu (mens) 4th Feb
NSLTA - Thursday Ladies:
- Next season commences Thur 4th Feb. Good luck to all teams competing.
NSJTA - Juniors:
- congratulations to the following teams who were premiers in Season 2, 2009 - A1 boys
(blue), B2 (boys) & A2 (team combined with Merlynston). Congratulations also to the
following who were runnersup - A res 3 & C1(boys) - next season commences on 5th & 6th Feb (4 teams on Fri night & 8 teams on Sat)
TV PENNANT:
- entries close with Tennis Victoria on 1st March - names must be registered at the club or
with Robert Strappazon as soon as possible if you're interested in playing - competition commences Sun 18th April 2010
CLUB & COURT CARE:
- Please ensure that you take all rubbish with you when you leave the courts & spectator
areas & dispose of it accordingly. - Emergency court care - A list of contact names & numbers is listed on the notice board in
the event of urgent maintenance or repairs. The committee would like to thank these
members for their assistance. If others would like to make themselves available to assist,
please speak to Allan Ryan or Daryl Jenkins.

COURT USAGE:
- Social play is permitted during competition times, provided a court is available. All other
times, one court is available for social play. Courts are allocated for social, competition,
coaching & team practice as per the usage chart displayed in the clubhouse. - If all courts are occupied, then doubles matches take precedence over singles matches.
Players shall not occupy a court longer than is required to play a normal set or half an hour
if others are waiting.
